The Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sani Bello, has been tongue lashed by a Peoples Democratic Party governorship aspirant for 2019, Alhaji Aminu Mohammed Baka, for the untold hardship in the state, saying: “He has been deceiving Nigerlites.”
The aspirant told newsmen on Thursday that the people of state are now aware of the All Progressives Congress-led government’s antics.
According to Baka: “As the 2019 general elections draw near, the people will vote in the candidates of their choice.
“The masses are not fools.
“They now know what is right.
“They know the conditions they are in.
“They know for sure the governor is deceiving himself.
“Our people know what is right.
“They know the conditions they are in.
“I want to bring new policies that will change the lives of our people for good.
“As I am talking to you now, everybody in Niger today knows that they are in a bad situation.
“The situation is hard.
“Business persons in Niger have no means.
“Until the masses have money, businesses will not move.
“Civil servants are here, pensioners are here, everybody facing humiliation.”
Baka, while reacting to what the governor said during a media parley that “he (Governor Bello) is not like the PDP government and so, didn’t promise the people anything,” said: “Every living thing in Niger State had a very good life in the 16 years of PDP rule.
“Everybody knows.
“Workers, non-workers, women, men, youth, businessmen and non-businessmen.”
