The Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda, has appointed AbdulKadir Mamman Nasir, a former House of Representatives member, as his new Chief of Staff, just as he made seven other appointments.
The announcement was made in a statement issued on Thursday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Kaula Mohammed.
Nasir served as the Managing Director of the Katsina State Irrigation Development Authority before he was appointed to succeed Jabiru Abdullahi Tsauri, who was recently appointed by President Bola Tinubu as the National Coordinator for the New Partnership for Africa’s Development.

The seven other appointments made by Governor Radda were those of Alhaji Malik Anas as Commissioner, subject to State House of Assembly confirmation; Alhaji Mustapha Bala Batsari, Special Adviser on Market Development; Alhaji Nasiru Ahmed, Special Adviser on Rural and Social Development; and Hajiya Bilikisu Suleiman, Special Adviser on Banking and Finance.
Others are Abubakar Ahmad Tsanni, Special Adviser on Youth Development; Dr. Mustapha Shehu, Executive Secretary of the Katsina State Development Management Board; and Engr. Aminu Barau Mairuwa, Senior Special Assistant on the newly established Community Development Programme.
