MNET top presenter, Denrele Edun, has said complications arising from pneumonia led to the death of singer and Big Brother of Africa 2012 celebrity, Goldie Harvey.
Edun, who was with Harvey when she passed on, told The Eagle Online that the late BBA star suffered from a pneumonia shortly before her death at Reddington Hospital on Victoria Island, Lagos State.
Pneumonia is an inflammatory condition of the lungs.
It results from cold and virus infection of the lungs.
Edun, who switched off his phone after the death of Harvey on Thursday, spoke with The Eagle Online on Friday morning.
He said he was still in shock as Harvey was full if life before she suddenly became acutely ill and had to be rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.
