Ghana’s top actress, Jackie Appiah, on Friday celebrated her 29th birthday amidst fanfare in Ghana.
In the spirit of celebration, the ebony beautiful actress gathered a few friends, family and had some fun.
Appiah made some merry in appreciating what God has done in her life.
Jackie Agyemang was born on December 5, 1983 in Canada and later moved to Ghana with her mother in 1993 at age 10.
She is popularly known by her maiden name Appiah.
Argyemang married in 2005 and has one son.
Though there are speculations that her marriage has cracked but yet to comment.
Appiah, who was a runner-up at the Talent Teens competition, started acting at the age of 12 in her local church group.
Their performance mostly demonstrated the Christian way of addressing and approaching the public for her work as an actress.
She has received several awards and nominations.
Her face has graced many billboards and magazines.
Appiah also endorsed many products and was spokesperson for the AIDS/HIV awareness in Ghana.
She has won numerous awards, including a prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actress in 2007.
Appiah hopes to study Entertainment Law or Media Law.
