Tyson Fury has called out Tony Bellew after David Haye was forced to withdraw from fighting the Liverpool-born boxer because of an injury.
Haye tore his bicep after falling down the stairs and underwent minor surgery to repair the problem.
That means the December 17 clash at the O2 is now off but is expected to be rescheduled in the early months of 2018.
Former world heavyweight champion Fury has other ideas and he has told Bellew to fight HIM instead.
Fury released an Instagram video and explained: “This is Tyson Fury, aka the Gypsy King.
“I just heard David Haye has pulled out against Tony the B***end Bellew.
“I will be ready and willing and waiting to fight Tony Bellew – May 5th, O2 Arena, London.
“Like I said before Tony, if you want to fight a real man and the best heavyweight in the world then we’ll be ready and waiting.
“They call you the Bomber, I call you the B***end.
“It will be no contest. One upper cut.
“If you think you can do any different, come and prove me wrong – and you can bring your mate as well, David Price.”
Haye lost to Bellew in March after he ruptured his Achilles in the sixth round of the dramatic clash before he was eventually stopped in the 11th round.
It is not the first time Haye has had to withdraw from a fight due to injury.
He pulled out of a 2009 clash with Wladimir Klitschko following a back injury before eventually losing to the Ukrainian in 2011.
Haye withdrew from two fights with Tyson Fury in 2013 and 2014, the first because of a cut and the second down to having shoulder surgery.
Doctors advised Haye to retire back in 2014 but he returned to the ring in 2016 and still holds ambitions of being the world heavyweight champion.
Bellew had said recently he would offer WBO champion Joseph Parker a fight in December if Haye pulled out but he will now wait for his bitter rival to recover.
The former world cruiserweight champion said: “I’m gutted that the rematch with David has been postponed, both for myself but more for the fans.
“I’ve had a tough camp with a lot going on in my life but was ready to repeat my win from March.
“I’ll get over this disappointment over Christmas with my family and will be straight back into camp for a new date, it’s a big disappointment but as always I leave my career in the hands of Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing who will get me back in there ASAP.”
