The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attajiru Jega, on Wednesday told the Senate that any further postponement of the general elections will be unconstitutional.
This was just as Jega also revealed to the senators that over four million Nigerians have engaged in multiple voting.
Jega added that the Commission will engage not less than 100,000 adhoc staff for the forthcoming general elections scheduled to hold on March 28 and April 11.
The INEC boss also revealed that about 0.03 per cent or approximately 503 card reader machines have failed so far when the imported card reader machines were tested by the Commission.
He said the card reader machines had been programmed to enable accreditation and voting take place simultaneously.
Jega added the Commission introduced this innovation to prevent electoral fraud.
He informed the lawmakers that the accreditation of electorates will not take more than 10 to 30 seconds.
