The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has prayed to God that the current fuel scarcity in the nation ends soon.
Adeboye led thousands of worshippers to pray for the country at a special monthly programme tagged: “Divine Encounter.”
It was held at the National Stadium, Abuja.
Adeboye enjoined the worshippers to pray that the current fuel scarcity across the country would be the last.
The pastor, in his message, said man needed to encounter God before a breakthrough would come.
Quoting from 2 Kings Chapter 4: 1-7 to back up his message, Adeboye underscored the need for fervent prayers for multiple blessings.
He said the nation would receive multiple breakthroughs in all facets of life if she encountered God as exemplified by the widow in the verses of the scripture he quoted.
According to him, when the widow encountered God, her situation changed from lack to abundance.
He told the worshipers that the only way to have divine encounter was for one to quit sin, surrender their lives to Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Saviour.
He admonished Nigerians to seek God prayerfully, diligently and obediently for their lives to change for the better.
