Six workers of South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries in Nigeria’s Bayelsa State have been kidnapped.
The six men – four Koreans and two Nigerians – were kidnapped on Tuesday.
The police confirmed the kidnap of the Hyundai workers.
The spokesman of the Bayelsa State Police Command, Fidelis Odunna, said: “At about 15:30 (1430 GMT) today, some armed men went to a Hyundai location in a forest by the Atlantic Ocean beach and kidnapped four expatriates and two Nigerians.
“The police are going to beef up security around all companies that have expatriates.”
