No fewer than four persons died on Wednesday night when a tanker exploded and went up in flames.
The incident occurred in Apapa at a tank farm.
The spokeswoman of the Lagos State Police Command, Ngozi Braide, confirmed the development to The Eagle Online.
Braide said she would not be able to give further details as at press time as the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the area was at the scene of the blast.
She promised to revert to The Eagle Online as soon as there is further information.
