A former officer of the United States of America Army, Abiodun Allen, a Nigerian, has stabbed his brother, Wale Allen, to death.
Abiodun, who was kicked out of the US Army over allegations bothering on drug usage and eventually deported to Nigeria, killed Wale while he was sleeping.
He was said to have stabbed him to death and made to bury him when he was discovered.
When Abiodun was deported, he was said to have gone to stay with Wale, his younger brother.
Detectives of the State Criminal Investigations Department, Panti Yaba, Lagos State, are said to be working round the clock to establish why Abiodun decided to kill his brother.
Spokesperson of the Lagos State Police Command, Ngozi Braide, said: “They both live at Awori-Ota.
“They are brothers.
“Abiodun killed his brother, Wale, while he was sleeping.
“After killing the victim, he decided to bury the corpse.
“As he was dragging the corpse, someone saw him and alerted police.
“Investigations revealed that Wale was sleeping when the suspect attacked him.
“He stabbed the victim in the stomach and neck.”
