As the intention of seven governors from the Peoples Democratic Party to join the newly formed All Progressives Congress heightens, a former PDP member of House of Representatives from Ogun State, Hon. Kayode Amusan, has advised the governors to rather remain landlords in their party than being squatters and strange fellows in APC.
Amusan made the remark during his interaction with newsmen at the weekend in Lagos.
He used the occasion where he told the governors to revisit records and remember the case of one of the founding fathers of the PDP, a vice-president who erroneously joined the Action Congress of Nigeria and ruined his political career.
“I advice my dear governors to have a re-think and remain with the party that made them,” he said.
