Nigeria’s U20 male team, the Flying Eagles, will resume training camp in Ilorin, Kwara State, ahead of a 2013 AYC qualifier against South Africa on August 22.
The team broke camp on Monday for the Muslim Sallah holiday.
Team Secretary, Sirajo Hassan, said both players and officials are expected at the Bovina View Hotel in Ilorin, where the team stayed for a second round, second leg qualifier against Tanzania on Sunday.
The Coach John Obuh-led Flying Eagles eliminated their Tanzanian counterparts 4-1 on aggregate in the second round.
They won the first clash in Dar es Salaam 2-1 before they wrapped their passage to the next round of the qualifying tournament with a 2-0 win at the Ilorin Stadium on Sunday.
They are billed to take on the Amajita of South Africa, who sent packing Congo on September 22 in Johannesburg in a third round, first leg match.
The return leg is also planned for Ilorin a fortnight later with the overall winners booking a place in the eight-nation African Youth Championship in Algeria in March.
Nigeria are the African defending champions.
