The Abuja residence of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, was on Sunday evening gutted by fire, TheCable is reporting.
According to the online newspaper, Kachikwu was not at home when fire broke out.
The fire was first noticed in his bedroom.
The suspicion is that it was due to a faulty air conditioner.
