World’s football governing body, FIFA, has told Nigeria to reinstate the suspended Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation, Aminu Maigari, or risk being banned.
FIFA, in a letter to Nigeria on Thursday, said Maigari must be reinstated before August 26, 2014 when another election is scheduled into the Board of the NFF.
Maigari was initially sacked by a court in Jos, Plateau State.
After the court rescinded the decision, he was again pronounced removed by majority of the members of the NFF Board.
