The Federal Government has renewed the appointment of Dr Dennis Allagoa as the Medical Director, Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, for a second and final term of four years.
A statement issued by Boade Akinola, Director Media and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Health, on Saturday in Abuja, said the re-appointment was with effect from March 11.
The statement quoted the Minister of State for Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, congratulating Allagoa on his renewed appointment.
It said Ehanire enjoined Allagoa to do his best at improving on the achievements already attained at the hospital and justify the confidence reposed on him by President Muhammadu Buhari through his re-appointment.
It added that the minister advised Allagoa to focus more on service performance in order to build public trust in the health sector.
The statement said Ehanire noted that the facility could build public trust by treating patients with respect and diligent service delivery.
It said that the minister further charged the Medical Director to work in harmony with all stakeholders in the sector and in support of Buhari’s change agenda.
