The Office of the Accountant General of the Federation has released the mandate to the Central Bank of Nigeria for the payment of the naira equivalent of $1,173,820 at N305/$ to the Nigeria Football Federation to pay the outstanding winning bonuses for the Super Eagles in the 2018 World Cup Qualifying Matches and for the Super Falcons’ participation in the 10th Women’s Africa nations Cup.
The OAGF said the payment is in furtherance of the approval from the Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, for the said amount to be paid.
The mandate, which is a sum of N358,015,100 has been paid by the CBN as at Thursday a statement by the OAGF said on Friday.
Similarly, another mandate for N113,8220,602 has also been released by the OAGF for the payment of wining bonus for the Super Eagles in the 2018 World Cup Qualifying matches and for the Super Falcon’s participation in the 10th Women’s Africa Nation’s Cup in Cameroon.
This amount has also been paid to Nigeria Football Federation and is equally sequel to the approval of Adeosun, the statement by the OAGF said further.
