The remains of the former Lagos State Governor, Sir Michael Agbolade Otedola, will be interred this weekend, The Eagle Online can confirm.
According to a statement, the burial has been slated to hold on May 29 and 30 in Otedola’s country home in Odoragushin, Epe area of Lagos State.
Femi Otedola, the billionaire son of the late Lagos State former governor, has concluded all arrangements to give his late dad a befitting burial.
The burial, which has been described as an epoch making event, will record the presence of eminent Nigerians, including representatives of the Presidency.
A close family source exclusively informed The Eagle Online that Femi Otedola’s close buddy, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, has donated 50 bags of rice, 10 cows and unconfirmed millions of naira to the family towards the realization of the high profile burial.
Otedola died few weeks back at his Epe, Lagos State home after his return from abroad where he had gone for a medical check up in January.
He reportedly suffered a stroke-related ailment for a while before he died.
The ailment reportedly kept him away for several years before he finally gave up the ghost few weeks back.
