The second semi-final match of the 2016 Men’s Federation Cup Competition will now take place at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan on October 15 instead of this Sunday.
A statement on the Nigeria Football Federation website quoted Nigeria Football Federation’s Head of Federation Cup, Emmanuel Adesanya, as saying the Oyo State Football Association requested for the shift.
Adesaanya said: “We got a request for a shift from the earlier date of Sunday, stating that the Oyo State Government would make use of the venue on Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9.”
The match is between two-time CAF Champions League winners and seven-time Nigerian champions, Enyimba FC of Aba, and Nasarawa United of Lafia.
