The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator Bala Mohammed, has expressed confidence that if probed, the incoming administration will not find him wanting.
In a chat with State House correspondents on Wednesday, Mohammed said he has nothing to fear and would be willing to defend his actions if called upon by the incoming government.
The All Progressives Congress has accused him of eleventh hour award of contracts and recruitments.
Defending some of the recent projects, the minister explained that the traffic light project was donated by the Chinese government in conjunction with the National Planning Commission.
Justifying the recruitment, Mohammed said it was in order since the people employed were Nigerians.
However, he enjoined the incoming government to sustain the traffic light project.
Mohammed said further: “We have done our best for this country.
“The President Goodluck Jonathan administration has done a great job.
“We have nothing to hide.
“We are ready for probe.”
