The management of Nnewi-based FC Ifeanyi Ubah on Friday said it will on Monday begin a recruitment process for new players ahead of the Nigeria Professional Football League 2018/2019 season.
Iyke Nwokedi, the club’s Media Officer, in a statement said the club would seek to recruit the best players available so as to have a good campaign next season.
Nwokedi said: “The management of FC IfeanyiUbah will conduct a one-week screening exercise for new players, from Monday to November 12 and the screening exercise will be free and fair.
“We also expect that the screening, which is for talented and young players aspiring to make a career in football, will be in conformity with all football ethos and standards.
“The players selected during the process will be integrated into our feeder or main teams to blend with the current crop of players in our squad.
“This will be in anticipation of a good run during the 2018/2019 NPFL season.”
