FBN Holdings on Tuesday announced the appointment of Olawale Ariyibi as Chairman of the Board, FBNQuest Capital Ltd; and Tijanni Borodo as Chairman of the Board, FBNQuest Trustees Ltd.
The company in a statement said that the appointment followed the recent renaming of all entities under the investment banking and asset management subsidiary group.
It said that the renaming was in line with the objectives to deliver a consistent customer experience and drive increased stakeholder value.
The statement said that the appointment of both chairmen had received regulatory approvals.
It said that Ariyibi would bring a combined 23 years’ experience in banking and allied financial services, business assurance, tax management, business process review and consulting across several institutions to the board.
It said that Ariyibi is also currently the Chief Finance Officer at FBN Holdings Plc, having worked as Chief Financial Officer at Transcorp.
The statement said that Borodo would join the Board of FBNQuest Trustees with over 24 years’ experience in the legal and financial services industry.
It added that Borodo started his career in First Bank of Nigeria in 1988 and became the company secretary of FBN Holdings in 2013, where he served for four years until his retirement in 2017.
FBNQuest Trustees is a subsidiary of FBNQuest Capital and acts as a custodian of assets, offering Corporate, Private and Public Trust services.
