The Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose, on Wednesday spoke on the face-off between President Muhammadu Buhari and former President Olusegun Obasanjo, over the $16 billion expended on power projects during the eight-year reign of Obasanjo.
Fayose made his intervention on his Twitter handle on Wednesday.
He said: “I am enjoying these latest brickbats between President Buhari and ex-President Obasanjo.
“They should keep exposing themselves for Nigerians to know what they have been hiding.
“Nigerians should remember I warned that those who brought Buhari will regret entrusting him with power.”
Buhari had on Tuesday said Obasanjo had nothing to show for the $16 billion expended on power projects during his eight-year tenure.
He spoke when he received a delegation of Buhari Support Organisations, led by the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, retired Colonel Hameed Ali.
Obasanjo immediately replied, saying Buhari had no knowledge about the subject he dabbled into.
