A former Special Adviser to Governor Babatunde Fashola, Toyin Hamzat, has been shot dead by yet-to-be-identified gunmen in Ogun State.
Hamzat, a former Chairman of Ikeja Local Government Area and a former Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Health, was shot in the head on Sunday in Sagamu, Ogun State on Sunday evening.
Hamzat was reportedly shot around 9pm on the expressway around Sagamu.
He was said to be returning from his country home in the area when he was attacked.
