The family of a young man who was today killed in Lagos by officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force, Pen Cinema Division, has described their late son as a “very quiet and promising young man.
The victim, whose name was given as Ademola Aderinde, was playing football with some others when he was shot, with three others also.
The other young men who were shot are receiving treatment at a popular hospital in Ogba, Lagos.
The Divisional Police Officer of Pen Cinema Police Station, Sunday Fabunmi, reportedly led the team that shot Aderinde.
Aderinde, whose photograph accompanies this story, was described by his family as “extremely easy going.”
