The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria on Thursday briefly closed the runway of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
The closure lasted for less than an hour.
This followed the skidding off of the runway by a jet.
The jet is owned by Nest Oil.
FAAN said this was to enable the Authority take safety precautions.
FAAN said the aircraft lost its landing gear in the process.
