Nigerian coach and former Green Eagles’ player, Kelechi Emeteole, has died in an hospital in India.
Emeteole before his death was said to have been having serious difficulties in breathing and was supposed to have a surgery in India, but passed on at the final stage of his medical therapy.
His wife, Lolo Emeteole, confirmed the demise of her husband on Wednesday morning, stressing that the tragic death of the man, popularly known as Caterpillar, would remain in her memory.
”Yes, my husband is dead as he could not make the final surgery to remove the pipe on his neck, and so sad that I am now a widow,” the wife was quoted to have said.
