A former Director of Facilities and Stadia Management Department in the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Katmwan Dungse, is dead.
According to available information, the Director slumped and died in his house on Sunday evening.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Gabriel Aduda, said in a statement on Monday that the news of Dungse’s “death was received by the Management with shock and deep pain”.
Aduda said Architect Dungse had meritoriously served the nation for over 30 years and brought his wealth of experience and proficiency to advance the vision and mandate of the Ministry.
He said: “The entire ministry and indeed management have expressed sincere condolences to the immediate family of Architect Dungse and pray that the good Lord grant his soul peaceful rest.”
The remains of the former Director have since been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, Nasarawa State, while the Ministry will liaise with the family for burial arrangements.
Aduda added: “The Ministry’s heartfelt prayers are with the family at this present painful and challenged period.
“Rest on! Adieu.”
