A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has fixed August 29 to deliver judgment in a suit filed by suspected billionaire kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, popularly known as Evans.
Evans, who was arrested by the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team two months ago, led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari, has been accused of involvement in several high profile kidnapping cases.
He has however gone to court to enforce his fundamental human rights.
He is seeking his release from police detention since no case has been established against him.
