Stoke City midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo’s return to the Super Eagles line up may take a little longer, if reports from England is anything to go by.
According to reports, the midfielder suffered injury relapse in a Championship tie against Sheffield Wednesday.
The midfielder, who returned from injury against Fulham at the weekend, was pulled out after 21 minutes of action.
Etebo was involved from start to finish for the Nathan Jones’ men as they secured an impressive 2-0 win over Fulham at the Bet 365 Stadium.
In Etebo’s absence, Nigeria would bank on Glasgow Rangers sensation, Joe Aribo, Wilfried Ndidi, Ramon Azeez of Granada FC, Spain and PAOK Salonica’s Anderson Esiti.
The three-time African champions will host Benin Republic on November 11 and play away to Lesotho in Maseru on November 19.
