Southampton came back from two goals down to stun Liverpool 3-2 at St Mary’s.
Sadio Mane’s dramatic late strike moments after Graziano Pelle’s equaliser ended the Reds’ four-game unbeaten run in the league.
Liverpool took the lead through Philippe Coutinho’s expert ranged effort and then doubled it when Daniel Sturridge squeezed home before the break.
Mamadou Sakho prevented a Joe Allen effort making it 3-0 after the defender was caught offside.
Mane even had a penalty saved by Simon Mignolet before the forward inspired Southampton’s response when slotting home on 64 minutes after a Reds blunder.
And the hosts secured three points when, seven minutes from time, Pelle fired home front the edge of the area and then Mane found the far corner minutes later.
