Arsenal and Crystal Palace battled to a goalless London derby draw at the Emirates on Thursday.
Mikel Arteta saw the Gunners’ Premier League winning run come to an end as they lacked inspiration in north London, while Roy Hodgson will feel aggrieved that Palace left with only a point after creating the better chances.
Palace went close twice in the first half: James Tomkins hit the bar with a header off an Ebere Eze free-kick, while Christian Benteke saw his header denied by a superb save from Bernd Leno.
Thomas Partey returned from injury off the bench in the second half for Arsenal, but the Gunners could not find a winner as their three-game winning streak in the League ended.
