Super Eagles’ midfielder, John Obi Mikel, has expressed satisfaction with Chelsea’s performance in the 2011/2013 English Premier League season.
Mikel believed that the top three finish on the Premier League log will present him another opportunity to give the Champions League title another shot after winning it a few years ago.
He said: “It was a tough season and I’m happy that we ended up in the top three, which qualifies us for Champions league next season.
“I have won it before.
“I want to have a shot at the trophy again.
“Though, we didn’t get to win the league but Europa League was a good trophy to end the season with.
“I hope for a better season next term.”
Chelsea finished third in the EPL with 75 points.
