Retired Super Eagles’ goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama, has said he can only stage a return to the national team if professionalism is adhere to.
The Lille of France star stated this on Thursday night in a phone-in programme on Channels TV.
According to Oliseh: “I’m always ready to serve my fatherland and restore us back to where we belong, but the conditions have to be right for me to return.
“I would rather stay away from the team if my being around the team would pull us backward. I belong to Nigeria and would always do everything in the best interest of our nation.”
Enyeama also denied that he was engulfed in battle with the national team’s coach, Sunday Oliseh over captaincy.
He said he was not bothered about who leads the team but their success on the pitch.
