Super Eagles’ striker, Emmanuel Emenike, will be out of action for three weeks due to an injury he sustained in Fenerbache’s 2-1 win over Konyaspor in a Turkish Super Lig tier on Monday.
In a scan conducted by John Kunduracıoglu and Goztepe Medical Park Hospital, it was detected that the player had a second order partial tear in the upper rear right leg muscle, which will keep him on the sideline for 21 days.
Meanwhile, the goal poacher and Afcon 2013 golden boot winner in a statement by his club, Fenerbache, has been discharged and acquitted of match-fixing allegation that was leveled against him.
The club confirmed the receipt of the Supreme Court judgement shortly before their Monday night game against Konyaspor.
