The Governor of Kwara State, Abdulfatah Ahmed, has approved February 15 and March 1 as work-free days for Kwara State public servants.
This is to allow public servants to exercise their franchise during the forthcoming general elections scheduled for February 16 and March 2, 2019.
In a statement by the Head of Service, Susan Oluwole, the State Government said: “Public servants are therefore advised to conduct themselves in a manner devoid of any acrimony.”
Oluwole said workers are expected back at work on February 18 and March 4 after the two elections.
