The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has requested for N350 million in the 2020 Budget for the maintenance of its newly constructed office in Abuja.This was contained in a report submitted by the Senate Committee on Anti-Corruption to Senate Appropriation Committee for consideration.According to the Chairman of the Committee, Senator Kwari Abudu, EFCC also came with request for additional funds because of the peculiarity of their mandate. Abudu said: “We also received from them an upward review of overheads in terms of N350 million for maintenance of their newly constructed office, which Julius Berger is to continue maintaining over a period of time.”
