Pastor Faithful Osubi, Founder, Believers International Church, Benin, has urged Christian faithful in Edo State to exercise their civil rights by voting massively in the Sept.19, governorship poll.
Osubi gave the advice shortly after praying for the state in Benin on Sunday.
“Christian faithful should please discard fear and come out to cast their vote for their candidates.
“Do not sit at home and wait for results without voting. Please vote for your choice and the Lord would guide your vote.
“Avoid all forms and kind of discussions on election ground which would result in fighting or violence.
“Whatever party you belong to, keep it to yourself. Do not insult other party delegates or members,” he said.
Osubi said that the next four years in the state would be peaceful and enjoyable regardless of the party that eventually wins the election.
He committed the election into the hands of the Almighty God and prayed for peace to reign in the state and the country.
