The Nigerian trio of Idowu Akinjide, Alfa Abdulahi and Ezeh Chidera are among the 17 players from six countries who risk missing the next round games should they be cautioned in Friday’s four matches.
The other players who must avoid being booked are Tripichio Nicolas, Ferreyra German, Canete Jonathan and Moran Correa Zacarias, all from Argentina, that will be facing Canada.
The Canadians also have five players at risk.
They are: Roubos Elias, Davies Eric, Gordon Andrew, Dominguez Marco and Froese Kianz.
When Iran faces Austria, Iranian Hosseini Majid must avoid picking a yellow card just as the duo of Iraqis – Alaa Ali Mhawi and Mahdi Abdulzahra must be cautious when they face the Golden Eaglets.
The others at risk are Mexico’s Almanza Jose and Ochoa Ivan.
