Didier Drogba has praised Tammy Abraham after the Chelsea ace scored his first Premier League goal in Swansea’s win at Crystal Palace.
Abraham has hailed Blues legend Drogba has an inspiration to him.
And Drogba took to social media after the on-loan Chelsea youngster opened his account at the same ground as the Ivorian did back in August 2004.
Drogba tweeted: “Great to see you opening [your] account in a stadium where I scored my first Chelsea Premier League goal Tammy Abraham.”
Abraham also celebrated his goal by posting on social media, saying: “Big 3 points, delighted with my first Prem goal.”
Abraham showed strength and composure in front of goal to fire Swansea ahead a minute before half-time.
The 19-year-old shrugged aside Palace substitute Martin Kelly at the far post to volley home Leroy Fer’s cross from close-range.
