Nigeria’s football team, Dream Team VI, has departed Manaus for Sao Paulo, Brazil ahead of their third group game against Colombia on Wednesday.
The team’s media officer, Timi Ebikagboro, tweeted that the players and officials departed their Tropical Hotel in Ponta Negra at 5pm Nigerian time to connect a flight to Sao Paulo.
The flight time from Manaus to Sao Paulo, according to The Eagle Online check, is 3 hours 45 minutes.
The Nigerian side, who are through to the next round, will face Colombia at the 49,205 capacity Arena Corinthians, Sao Paulo, while Sweden battle Japan for a place in the quarterfinals.
The squad will train on Tuesday ahead of the meeting against the South Americans.
