In its bid to ensure a successful defence of the Nigeria Premier League title, the management of Dolphins FC has concluded the processes for the transfer of a Ghanaian player.
Seidu Abuu, a holding midfielder, became a Dolphins player last week after his former club, Suncity FC, agreed to the terms of Dolphins.
Abuu will join Owusu Addae as the only two foreign players of Nigeria’s CAF Champions League campaigners.
Abuu has already been thrown straight into the starting line up as Dolphins host Gombe United in Sunday in a Week 7 Nigeria Premier League match at the Port Harcourt Liberation Stadium.
He takes the place of Hassan Hussein who started in defensive midfield in the last two games Dolphins played this season.
Last night, the Nigerian champions, Dolphins, defeated Gombe United by two goals to one inside the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt.
The match between Kano Pillars and Kwara United ended two goals in favour of the home side.
Bobo Mohammed and Muniru Wale scored the two goals that gave Pillars the maximum points.
