On recommendation eight, Hon. Abike Dabiri, moved a motion to give a time frame to the recommendation that says the NNPC should make a refund of the amount paid in excess as subsidy within the next three months.
Hon. Emedioha said the NNPC has written a letter to the speaker on the money in contention.
He called on Hon. Lawan to enlighten the House on the money.
Lawan said that his committee had received a lot of communication on the report.
He, however, said that the NNPC deducted in excess and therefore the money should be retuned to government coffers.
The House approved the amendment.
On recommendation nine, Hon. Friday Itulah said that it should be amended to be specific that those found culpable should be handed over to the EFCC. Lawan said that his committee defined anti-corruption agencies to mean all relevant anti-corruption agencies.
The House turned down a motion calling for the dissolution of the board and management of the NNPC.
