Super Eagles’ gaffer Stephen Keshi has boasted that the Red Devils of Congo won’t go unhurt as both sides clash today in AFCON 2015 qualifier at the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar.
The Big Boss believed the Eagles have gotten a fairly good preparation for the the Congo’s game and are raring to go in tomorrow’s tie.
His words: “The Congolese should not feel we don’t know anything about them. I have read so much about their team. We know their strength and their weakness, so we can play against them.
“I have done my consultations and carried out some research about. Yes, they have a versatile coach in Claude Leroy on the bench. Leroy is someone that understands the African terrain but I don’t think there is any need to worry about our opponents.
“We got good players in camp and they know what it means to be at the Cup of Nations. The task looks enormous but these boys are good to go against Congo.”
Asked when he will commence preparation for the next qualifying game against South Africa. Keshi said his immediate worry is the Congolese as he is taking the game one after other.
The AFCON 2013 winning coach also declined comments on the contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
