“What!”
“Yes, they said it’s her destiny and nothing can change it.”
Yes, we’re back where I started.
This was what got me so pissed. What sort of destiny is that, please tell me? My argument is this: if Kafaya so much loves manhood and she knows she does, wouldn’t it be wise for her to always move about with condoms?
Sex should not become a burden to family members or our parents. Sex is supposed to be savoured and enjoyed between lovers and married couple.
You can definitely have sex without making babies. Take that to the banks!
If these unseen gods have decreed that its Kafaya’s lot to have 12 babies for 12 men, did they also forbid her from using condoms or trying out other contraceptives?
True, it’s possible the condoms and contraceptives might not work, since the gods are involved, that’s if you believe in such nonsense, but my argument is that you shouldn’t make it easier for the gods.
We arrogate so much power and influence to the gods that we end up making a mess of our lives and giving the credit to the gods for every failure.
We allow ourselves to become pawns in the hands of these gods and end up having a miserable existence. I don’t believe in these gods. But Kafaya’s family believed it and now sees no reason or sense in cautioning her to keep her thighs close.
I can also argue that Kafaya is a nymphomaniac and as such should protect herself from pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.
If the gods have damned her to banging 12 men and having 12 babies for them, have they also damned her to distributing STD?
Kafaya is abusing love making and I take exception to that! And this belief of her family in some gods being behind her reckless banging habit is nothing short of begging her to continue her sexual escapades.
I sincerely feel for my friend, Kubura, because whether she likes it or not, it falls on every member of the family to cater and care for those kids.
With Kafaya more interested in sampling every manhood she sniffs, it takes little or no imagination to wonder what those kids would turn out to be in the future. No matter how much our family members love and care for us, the truth is that they too have their own problems and kids to cater for.
Nobody, and I mean absolutely nobody can love your kids the way you do! The question however is this: does Kafaya give a crap about her kids?
You don’t really need a crystal ball to tell you that I don’t like Kafaya. Can you blame me? I hate women who make other women seem cheap to men.
To say Kafaya is cheap is an understatement.
I had once been told that I had a seducing spirit. The pastors agreed that once a guy sees me or look into my eyes, he would want to bang me. Nonsense, of course, but everyone fell for the prophecy or what can I call it?
It will interest you to know that the prediction was given to me when I was still in secondary school, but even I didn’t believe it. Even then, I was not too interested in men. I lived in the world of ‘Mills & Boon.’ In fact, I was in final year in secondary school when I first set eyes on a condom. I was lucky to see it because one silly guy, Moses Okoro, brought it to class, inflated it and was rubbing it against my face.
As usual, I was reading my Mills and Boon novel when he came to distract me with the strange balloon. All eyes were on me. I didn’t understand the class’s fascination for the balloon. I held it and asked: “Which kind bolobolo be dis…?”
The class burst into laughter. I was confused. Was the question that hilarious? I didn’t get the joke, but everyone was willing to explain to me what the bolobolo was really used for.
I grew up to discover that men generally found me attractive, but hell, you don’t need to be Einstein to figure out that most men will chase and woo any lady, let alone a pretty one like me (no mind me…smile).
This however doesn’t mean and didn’t come close to me having a seducing spirit or seducing any guy. I’m too much of a tomboy to seduce any guy. I have always seen life as two different lines. White and black…lies and truth…I want to have sex with you or I don’t want to have sex with you. I hate coyness! Waste of time! No, I’m definitely not a seductress!
The only thing that bothered me as I grew up and started dating was that almost all the guys I dated, always wanted to….just thinking about it makes me blush with embarrassment. Please let’s give the discussion a rain check.
