Popular musical act, David Adeleke, has told the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons that his baby mama, Sophia, a cousin of veteran journalist, Dele Momodu, told a lot of lies in the course of their relationship.
Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, made the allegations in his statement and interaction with operatives of NAPTIP on Wednesday.
Adeleke, who was at the NAPTIP office in continuation of the hearing of the case between him and Sophia over the custody of their child, Imade, said his baby mama lied to him about her age.
Adeleke, who gave his age as 24 in his statement, said Sophia told him she was only two years older than him when they started the relationship.
However, he said he discovered in the course of their relationship that she was not less than six years older than him.
He also told the NAPTIP operatives that contrary to the impression being created in the public space, Sophia was not a graduate.
But Adeleke told the NAPTIP operatives that the age and educational qualifications were not issues that bothered him.
He said they were not big deals because he enjoyed Sophia’s company.
More coming on this news website on what Adeleke told the NAPTIP operatives in writing and verbally.
