HKN boss and Aye Crooner, David Adeleke, famously known as Davido, last Sunday disrupted the convocation ceremony of Babcock University, a private university in Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, where he was one of the 1,544 graduating students.
Adeleke made a dramatic entrance as the special guest of honour and the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, was delivering her topical speech.
The moment the singer walked into the complex, the shouts of his name from students and his fans rented the air, making the minister to have to suspend her speech, which until Davido’s arrival held the audience spell-bound.
When normalcy could not be restored after several minutes, Davido’s father, Chief Deji Adeleke, rescued the situation by calling out for his super star son: “David! David!! Leave this place now and follow me wherever I go.”
