Mark was on Tuesday at the Wadata Plaza national secretariat of the PDP to obtain his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms

The immediate past President of the Senate, David Mark, has joined the 2019 presidential race.
Mark was on Tuesday at the Wadata Plaza national secretariat of the PDP to obtain his Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms.
Mark, who had prior to his decision to enter the presidential race handed over the structures of the party in his state to the Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, gone to the PDP secretariat with some of his aides, including his spokesman, Paul Mumeh, to purchase the form.
At exactly 12pm, Mumeh was seen walking along the corridor leading to the office of the party’s National Organizing Secretary, Colonel Austin Akobondu with drummers and flutists providing music praising Mark.
Mark had been in the Senate since 1999 when the country returned to democratic rule, becoming Senate president in the process.
