Amidst COVID-19 scare in the House House of Representatives, the Minority Leader of the House, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu (PDP-Delta State), on Wednesday made public the results of the test conducted on him, his household and domestic staff, which all returned negative
According to a statement made available to newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday, personally signed by the lawmaker, the test was conducted oh him, his family members and 11 domestic staff on July 3.
Elumelu, while expressing delight on the outcome of the test, encouraged his colleague lawmakers to do same without further delay.
Recall that the House on Tuesday adjourned plenary session till next week and few hours later a section of the media came out with a report that about 50 members of the Green Chamber have been infected with the deadly coronavirus pandemic, which prompted the sudden adjournment.
However, the House Spokesperson, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, refuted the report.
