Nigeria on Saturday recorded 55 new cases of Coronavirus Disease, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 165,110.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control revealed this on its Twitter handle on Saturday.
According to the NCDC, there was no death recorded on Saturday from the pandemic, which spread to the country on February 27, 2020.
According to the data made available by the NCDC, Lagos State recorded the highest number of new infections with 21 cases, followed by Yobe State with 19.
Other states with new infections on Saturday were Ogun-6, Akwa Ibom-3, Kaduna-2, Plateau-2, FCT-1 and Rivers-1.
With the zero death recorded on Saturday, the country still has a fatality figure of 2,063 from the virus.
The figure of those successfully treated and discharged was put at 155,101.
