Nigeria on Wednesday recorded 198 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 66,805.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Wednesday.
The Federal Capital Territory, like Tuesday, still topped the number of cases.
It recorded 53 new infections, while Lagos had 48; Ogun, 40; and Akwa Ibom, 20.
Others with infections on Wednesday were Bauchi (9), Plateau (8), Kaduna (5), Kano (4), Benue (3), Jigawa (3), Nasarawa (3), Edo (1) and Kwara (1).
Till date, Nigeria has had 66,805 cases, with 62,493 successfully treated discharged and 1,169 deaths recorded.
